Clinical Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Educator

The Expertise I Offer

  • Counseling, Coaching, Consulting

Everyone strives to grow and thrive, yet we all face moments of pain and stagnation. Through building genuine, accepting, and empathetic relationships with my clients, I aim to support individuals through life’s most significant challenges.

I specialize in addressing emotional distress brought on by climate change, enhancing well-being for individuals and families at the end- of-life, providing grief and loss counseling, offering self-awareness counseling, and providing general wellbeing counseling. I am an integrative counselor with a strong foundation in humanistic and psychodynamic counseling models. With over 15 years of experience, I have supported individuals through a wide range of life’s challenges, both big and small.

I am a registered clinical counselor in Australia, but I also serve an international clientele by providing coaching and consulting services. In addition to my private practice, I work with Kyan Health.

  • Clinical Supervision

Are you seeking professional guidance to enhance your counseling practice? I offer comprehensive clinical supervision services designed to support and develop counseling professionals. As a Level 4 Clinical Counsellor and Registered Supervisor, my approach is grounded in fostering growth, self-awareness, competency, and ethical practice.

Currently, I supervise counselors in Australia and Canada. Please check with your licensing body to ensure that my qualifications meet the requirements for your country or state.

  • Education and Training

With my education and experience in academia, I bring a wealth of expertise to my roles. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Yorkville University in Canada, I contribute to the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program, offering insights and guidance to aspiring counselors.

Prior to this, I held pivotal roles at prestigious institutions including Murdoch University, Curtin University, and the University of Western Australia. My dedication to advancing the field of counseling is evidenced by my contributions as Head of Counseling at Murdoch University, and as Accreditation Adviser to the Psychotherapy and Counseling Federation of Australia.

As an expert in Dignity Therapy, I have conducted training workshops for healthcare providers across Australia and New Zealand, equipping them with valuable skills to enhance end-of-life care. Collaborating closely with the Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement, I have facilitated training sessions covering diverse topics such as transitioning to aged care and employing creative interventions for grief support.

Presently, I am focussed on developing training programs addressing the emerging field of climate grief, and aim to provide professionals with effective tools to support individuals navigating the emotional challenges associated with climate change.
