I am a Senior Lecturer in Counselling at the University of Canberra, where my work brings together counselling education, research, and clinical practice.

My research interests include grief and bereavement, climate grief and distress, end-of-life and palliative care, and counselling practice and education. I am particularly interested in applying established theories of grief and loss to the emotional and psychological impacts of climate change.

I also provide professional development and training for counsellors, healthcare professionals and organizations in areas including grief and loss, climate distress, end-of-life care, aged-care transitions, Dignity Therapy, and clinical supervision.

I provide reflective clinical supervision for early-career and experienced counsellors across a range of practice settings. My approach is collaborative and relational, with an emphasis on critical reflection, ethical practice, and the thoughtful integration of theory and practice.

As an ACA Level 4 Clinical Counsellor and Registered Supervisor, I currently supervise counsellors in Australia and internationally.

I maintain a small clinical practice alongside my academic work, with particular interests in grief and loss, end-of-life concerns, climate distress, life transitions and self-exploration. My approach is integrative, relational and tailored to the individual.
